Dress Attire

Apparel Requirements

Variety

Any type of dance apparel, must be able to tumble and move freely. Dancers will be required to wear ballet shoes in the first portion of class, and tap shoes will be required for the second session of class. Color is not an issue for class, however, the recital performance may require a designated color. For tumbling no shoes or socks are to be worn.

Mommy and Me

none, lose fitting clothes, no shoes required

Ballet

All Hair must be pulled back into bun if length allows

Level One and Two: black or pastel Leotard, Pink or White Tights, prefer pink techniques shoes, skirts maybe worn

Level Three and above: black/brown dark colored Leotard , Pink, white or black tights, prefer pink technique shoes, men may wear white or black technique shoes. Skirts maybe worn.

Pointe

Will require you to wear footed tights, Pointe shoes will be determined by instructor. There are many types of toe shoes and depending upon the maker it can vary from shoe to shoe. Pointe shoes will need to have ribbon and elastic bands. You will not be required to use lambs wool, other options will be presented. Skirts maybe worn

Jazz

Leotards, crop tops and basic dance apparel, jazz pants, biker shorts, basic tights. There is no color restriction in this class you will just need to have tight fitting clothes so that the teacher can assess the dancers body lines. Shoes will be determined by level of skill in the class. There is no specific color for this class, however, performance pieces will require a specific color.

Tap

Leotards, crop tops and basic dance apparel, jazz pants, biker shorts, basic tights. There is no color restriction in this class just need to have tight fitting clothes so that the teacher can assess the dancers body lines. Shoes will be determined by level of skill in the class. There is no specific color for this class, however, performance pieces will require a specific color. Tan is usually the color for level two and lower classes.

Acrobatics

No loose fitting clothes & no shoes or socks.

Modern

Leotard or basic dance apparel no color restrictions, bare feet or foot thong

Hip Hop

No loose fitting clothes, Tennis/sneakers/street shoes required

Musical Theater

Leotards, crop tops and basic dance apparel, jazz pants, biker shorts, basic tights. There is no color restriction in this class just need to have tight fitting clothes so that the teacher can assess the dancers body lines. Shoes will be determined by level of skill in the class. Usually this class requires a heel character shoe, the heel can be 1 to 2 inches in height, if possible a soft leather healed shoe as well, each class will have their own shoe requirements. Props are also required for some of the routines.

Drill Team/Pon Pom

Leotards, crop tops and basic dance apparel, jazz pants, biker shorts, basic tights. There is no color restriction in this class just need to have tight fitting clothes so that the teacher can assess the dancers body lines. Shoes will be determined by level of skill in the class. A jazz sneaker or even a jazz technique maybe required as well as tennis/sneaker. The level of cheer and drill will determine those requirements. Pon Poms will be supplied for class use only, if a routine is offered this will become an accessory to the costume and will become the dancers responsibility to purchase. Flash gloves will be required for class use.

Note:

Props will be the financial responsibility of the dancers. Those requirements will be posted prior to routines being established.
